Columbus Franklin EADS

Columbus Franklin EADS was born 15 February, 1908 near Silva, Wayne County, Missouri. He was the son of William Franklin EADS JR and Darthula Dalue SMITH-EADS. In 1910 and 1920 we find Columbus EADS living with his parents in Wayne County, Silva Missouri area. On the 1930 Census we find him living in Granite City, Madison County, Illinois along with his brother Arnold and his Mother Darthula, she is listed as being named "Dorothy" on this Census record.

On 20 September, 1932 in Bernie, Stoddard, Missouri he married one Bertha Mae HARTLINE, daughter of Lack John Newman HARTLINE and Alice JOHNSON-HARTLINE.

To this union were two sons born:

(d) 23 May,2008 in New Plymouth, Vinton, Ohio

Bertha HARTLINE-EADS passed away 7 May, 1939 in Bernie, Stoddard, Missouri and was laid to rest in the Bernie Memorial Cemetery.

Upon the death of Columbus wife Bertha, he remarried to a woman name Evelyn ROHAN-EADS. He and Evelyn had Seven Children together:

Evelyn left Columbus when Robin was a baby and rumor has it that she went on to have Seven more children with another man. Columbus passed away 23 January, 1992 in Poplar Bluff, Butler, Missouri and he was laid to rest in the Bernie Memorial Cemetery, Bernie, Stoddard, Missouri.
